William L. Berry, former partner of Dunham, Boman & Leskera, leads his team at William Berry and Associates, LLC in an active litigation practice. His personal experience centers on civil litigation, insurance coverage, products liability, negligence, family law, probate, trust law, and criminal law.

Mr. Berry has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell and is also recognized as one of the Chicago Law Bulletin’s Leading Lawyers, a distinction reserved only for the top-5% of attorneys.

In 2011, Mr. Berry was appointed as the Chairman of the Illinois Racing Board, a position he held until January 2015. Mr. Berry remains committed to ensuring that the racing industry in Illinois remains viable and continues to provide jobs throughout the State.

A graduate of the Washington University Law School in St. Louis, Mr. Berry was admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association in 1973. His legal practice includes an extensive background of representing cases for both plaintiffs and defendants, and a continuing commitment to professional excellence.

As a frequent lecturer with the National Business Institute, Mr. Berry’s most popular topics include Probate Administration, Estate Administration, and Automobile Defense. He also employs his abilities as a skilled presenter to further awareness of legal issues affecting families touched by Alzheimer’s disease.

Mr. Berry is active in community service, a passion shared by his wife, Nancy, and two grown sons, Christopher and Kevin. As a member of St. Johns UCC, Mr. Berry supports multiple community outreach programs, which complement his work as a leader and advisor with the Boy Scouts of America. Born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on July 7, 1948, Mr. Berry now resides and practices in Collinsville, Illinois.
